Shaw, and Novartis, as well as multiple mid-sized businesses globally. His professional experience spans the US, Europe and India. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, where he graduated with distinction.

Managing Partner
Kapil is an investor and operator with over 20 years of experience across financial services, principal investing, and operational leadership. He spent a number of years in banking with Bank of America, Citi, and Brown Brothers Harriman, and in principal investing at Istithmar, a UAE-sponsored investment fund, and later at Gems Education, a $1B+ revenue K-12 group. His professional experience spans the US, UAE, India, and Asia. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a B.A. with honors from Clark University.
Karan Bhatia
Managing Partner & US Head
Karan is an investor and entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience across private credit, fintech, and venture investing. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of L.E.vate Finance, a platform that helps investors worldwide discover, diligence, deploy capital into, and monitor private debt investments. He previously held roles at Citi, Lend East, X10 Financial Services, and InflexionPoint Acquisition. His professional experience spans the US, India, and Asia. He is a CFA charter holder and also holds an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Management. He is based in Boston and heads the firm’s US efforts.
